About Timbrell Park

Livvi's Place Playground at Timbrell Park

Timbrell Park contains Livvi's Place, an all-abilities playground established in 2009 by the Touched by Olivia Foundation and City of Canada Bay Council and reinvented in 2016 with Moduplay equipment. The equipment includes an all-inclusive SkyRider with a basket seat, custom rope tunnels, Nature Play equipment and a mound slide, all over softfall. Livvi's Place is fully fenced with a single entrance and exit. Livvi's Cafe sits right beside the playground as an accessible coffee and food kiosk with outside tables.

Off-Leash Dog Area at Timbrell Park

Timbrell Park has an off-leash dog area in its designated western end. The area is completely unfenced and opens straight onto the Bay Run, a 7-kilometre shared walking and cycling path around Iron Cove that is very busy throughout the day. The off-leash area therefore suits owners who are comfortable letting their dogs run in unfenced space beside shared path traffic.

Sports Fields and Fitness at Timbrell Park

Timbrell Park has multipurpose sports fields used for soccer and cricket, with a soccer field positioned beside the playground. The park has a baseball court used by the Five Dock Falcons Baseball Club. Timbrell Park also has a mountain bike track listed as a bike path and a free public outdoor fitness gym, giving visitors an open-air place to train beside the sports grounds.
