About Propeller Park
Off-Leash Dog Area at Propeller Park
Propeller Park has a designated off-leash dog area on the grassed area between Hart Street and Gilchrist Place, and dogs can run leash-free there at any time of day. The lawns give dogs space to play and socialise. The off-leash zone has no fencing, so it only suits dogs with perfect recall. Dogs must stay on a leash outside this area, including on the waterfront walkways.
Harbour Foreshore at Propeller Park
Propeller Park looks out to Sydney Harbour and has natural water access at the water's edge. Picnic tables and bench seating are built into the landscape design, giving places to sit and take in the view. Propeller Park displays large old ship propellers beside its path, a reminder of local shipbuilding history. Pathway lighting supports evening walks, and the park's paths connect to the surrounding waterfront walkways.
