Dogs are not allowed on the playground or within 10m of it, on the inner fenced oval, on the netball and tennis courts, or on the rugby and cricket fields, and unleashed dogs are prohibited on all sports fields. Drinking water and human water bubblers are provided for visitors.

Playground and Outdoor Gym at Snape Park

Snape Park has a fenced playground in its south-western corner, where Percival and Storey Streets meet. The playground has a shade structure and softfall flooring and is best suited to toddlers and younger children, and smoking and vaping are banned within 10m of it. A free outdoor gym offers four groups of equipment for users over 14, and a 6-minute walk track with distance markings gives walkers a measured route through the park.
