Off-Leash Dog Area at Coral Sea Park
Coral Sea Park is an off-leash dog area at all hours, every day of the week. The park is completely unfenced and open to the surrounding roads, so owners must keep dogs under control, especially when other activities are running. Dogs are not allowed on the sports fields during organised matches or training, and they are banned from the children's playground. Toilets, water and poo bags are provided on site for dog owners.
Inclusive Playground at Coral Sea Park
Coral Sea Park has a large children's playground, which was upgraded in 2022 into an inclusive play space for children of different abilities. A NSW Government grant paid for the upgrade, with Randwick City Council matching the grant. Fencing surrounds the playground, unlike the rest of the park, and the play space has seats, a drinking fountain, bike racks, a litter bin and a shade structure.
Sports Fields and Picnic Areas at Coral Sea Park
Coral Sea Park has a cricket pitch, a basketball court, several soccer fields and several rugby fields, known together as Coral Sea Park Sportsfields and managed by Randwick City Council. Organised matches and training sessions take place on the fields. Away from the sport, the park has BBQ facilities and picnic areas for family gatherings, and walking paths run through the grounds.
