About Snowy Reserve
Playground at Snowy Reserve
Snowy Reserve has a recently upgraded playspace built around a multi-swing unit, where toddler-friendly swings and 360 swings share one structure so younger and older kids can swing together. The playspace also has a multi-play tower with a tubular slide, a twin see-saw and rocker, and a standing spinner. A perimeter path circles the playspace, so parents and carers can walk alongside children while they play.
Netball Court and Open Lawn at Snowy Reserve
Snowy Reserve has an open lawn kickabout area for informal sport, social games and other recreation. Snowy Reserve also has a modified netball court with a single ring, which suits shooting practice and casual play. Together, the lawn and court give Seven Hills residents flexible space for casual games, and a table and seat offer a place to sit and rest.
Cumberland Plain Woodland at Snowy Reserve
Snowy Reserve contains critically endangered Cumberland Plain Woodland, which provides important habitat for local wildlife. A Bushcare volunteer group meets at the reserve each month to regenerate the bush, remove weeds and occasionally plant. Blacktown City Council supports the group with supervision, training, plants, tools and information on grants. Everyone is welcome to join, and new volunteers sign up through a login or registration.
