About Endeavour Park
Off-Leash Dog Enclosure at Endeavour Park
Endeavour Park has a designated off-leash dog area in a fully fenced and signposted enclosure. Dogs can run off the leash there, but they must remain under owner control and obey voice commands. Dogs declared dangerous and restricted breed type dogs are prohibited from the off-leash area. The dog enclosure is separate from the playground, which is not fenced, so dogs and young children each have their own space.
Inclusive Playground at Endeavour Park
Endeavour Park has a playground with climbing structures, slides, swings, sand pits, balance beams and a kick-about area. Its soft fall is shaped as the full-sized outline of a 30-metre ship, and its sandpit is shaped like Tahiti. A wheelchair accessible carousel encourages inclusion and socialising, and the soft fall playspace uses ramps instead of stairs. Endeavour Park is designed as an inclusive space for young children, seniors and people with disabilities.
Barbecues and Picnic Areas at Endeavour Park
Endeavour Park has eight barbecues and an undercover shelter for picnics and family gatherings. Its picnic areas have tables, seating benches and a wheelchair accessible bench seat, with shade structures spread across them so visitors can eat in the shade. The park's amenities can host moderate to large scale community events, and the grounds have space for market stalls and sports play alongside the barbecue and picnic areas.
