About McKenzie Park

Shade Trees and Open Grass at McKenzie Park

McKenzie Park has two large eucalyptus trees along its northern edge and smaller ornamental trees scattered throughout, which shade the open grass area. Ku-ring-gai Council acquired the reserve in 1970. The lawn suits relaxation, self-catered picnics and informal recreation, and dogs are welcome on a leash, with no off-leash area. McKenzie Park has no playground, sports courts, BBQ facilities or toilets, so it works best as a quiet neighbourhood green space for short visits.
