Renewed Playground at Glencoe Street Playground
Glencoe Street Playground has a climbing tower with a double slide, swings and accessible in-ground trampolines. Sutherland Shire Council comprehensively renewed the playground in 2022 with new equipment and landscaping. The reserve provides shade and seats, so carers have a place to sit while children play, and the play area is partly fenced. The reserve also has a kickabout space for a casual ball game.
Free Outdoor Gym at Glencoe Street Playground
The outdoor gym at Glencoe Street Playground is free and open to anyone, with no membership or booking needed. Its calisthenics equipment includes triple parallel bars, staggered push-up boards, a sit-up and leg raise station and a chin-up bar, while balance equipment covers mobility work. New fitness equipment was installed during the 2022 renewal, so the gym was upgraded at the same time as the playground.
