About Veno Street Reserve

Playground at Veno Street Reserve

Veno Street Reserve has a playground designed for a range of ages and abilities, set on synthetic softfall. Beyond the slide, climbing wall and nets, the KliX FUSIONplay unit has a step climber, an interactive play panel and a ground-level imagination play area for younger children. A climbing fort with slide and activity panels sits alongside nature-based play, a spinner and stepping logs. The KliX NATURALplay trail and a double-bay swing set with nest, strap and cub seats round out the equipment.

Grounds and Monument at Veno Street Reserve

Veno Street Reserve has grassed areas, landscaped garden beds and shady mature trees, with a popular picnic area set among the trees. Paved pathways link the playground, picnic seating and monument. The monument commemorates the first military wireless transmission in Australia, which took place in Heathcote on 28 March 1910. Toilets sit inside the reserve, so a picnic lunch can run alongside a playground visit.
