About Progress Park

Off-Leash Dog Trial at Progress Park

Progress Park has a temporary off-leash dog park inside its fenced former playground. Dogs must stay on a leash in every unfenced part of the park. The existing fencing and seating remain in place for the off-leash area. Progress Park also has a waste bin and a dog waste bag dispenser installed for the trial. Signs in the park explain the trial, its operating hours and the behaviour expected of owners.

Open Grass and Picnic Areas at Progress Park

Progress Park has open grass and trees, with park furniture and picnic facilities for visitors who want to sit and eat outdoors. Walking paths run through the park, so it suits a short stroll as well as a picnic in a leafy setting close to Narwee's residential streets. The playground equipment at Progress Park has been removed for the dog trial, and Narwee Park, a five-minute walk away, has alternative play equipment for children.
