About Jubilee Park

Jubilee Park has a $2.5 million adventure playground with junior swings, flying foxes, a giant slide and a climbing frame with overhead tunnels. The playground also includes a children's bike track for young riders. Shadecloth covers the toddler slides, but the giant net and slide have no shade cover. New picnic areas, seating and a walking track were built at the same time as the playground.

Sports Courts and Outdoor Gym at Jubilee Park

Jubilee Park has multi-purpose sports courts, including a netball court and a basketball court. Jubilee Park also has outdoor gym equipment, and an outdoor fitness park stands behind the Mortdale Community Centre on George Street. Cyclists can use Jubilee Park's bike path. The courts and fitness equipment give adults and older teenagers their own activities while younger children use the playground.

Picnic and BBQ Areas at Jubilee Park

Jubilee Park has picnic areas and covered BBQ areas, so families can cook and eat out of the sun. New seating areas give groups a place to relax between activities, and shelters offer more cover. Jubilee Park has drinking water, and its toilets may be open only between sunrise and sunset. The park runs alongside a train line, and trees screen the park from the railway.
