About Young Reserve
Playspace at Young Reserve
Young Reserve has a playspace arranged across tiered levels, so the play areas sit on several raised platforms. KliX multi-play towers provide the climbing activities, and shade covers the play area to give children some protection from the sun. Sandstone boulder edging borders the playspace, and synthetic surfacing covers the ground beneath the equipment. The playspace was built in March 2020 as part of a reserve upgrade.
Paths and Landscaping at Young Reserve
Young Reserve has concrete paths that link the playspace with the surrounding areas of the grounds. The upgrade project at Young Reserve combined the play equipment and paths with civil works, drainage, landscaping and planting, which reshaped the reserve grounds. Campbelltown City Council commissioned the works as the project client, with a budget of $90,000 to $118,000 for the playspace works.
