About Dimeny Park
Skate Park and Basketball at Dimeny Park
Dimeny Park has a mini skate park at the top of the reserve, built from concrete with standard street elements: a bank with a curb, ledges and rails. A new skate ramp is already in use as part of the upgrades under way at the reserve. Dimeny Park also has basketball hoops, so skateboarding and basketball can both be enjoyed in one visit.
Playground and Picnic Areas at Dimeny Park
Dimeny Park has play equipment for children, plus picnic tables and huts for family gatherings. Shaded structures and seats let carers rest out of the sun while children play. A gazebo stands in the green space, and an amphitheatre built from stone and grass gives the reserve an outdoor spot to sit together. These shaded areas make Dimeny Park comfortable for longer visits with young children.
Walking and Cycling Paths at Dimeny Park
Dimeny Park has a cycleway that spans the whole reserve, together with shared walk and cycle paths. Walkers and cyclists can follow the cycleway for a loop around the park, while the shared paths give both groups room to move through the open green space side by side. The paths also suit dog walking, as long as dogs stay on a secure leash.
