Fenced Castle Playspace at Jim Anderson Park

Jim Anderson Park has a fully fenced playspace built around a castle-themed play unit with an arch bridge, turrets, two slides, a climbing wall, a rope climber and a fire pole. A maze with crawl tubes, interactive play panels and a balance trail add more ways to play, and a three-bay swing set includes a basket swing. The original shade sail was kept over the playspace when it was redeveloped, and new trees and landscaping were added around it.

Court and Fitness Equipment at Jim Anderson Park

Jim Anderson Park has a court that replaced the former half-court, with a basketball hoop, a netball hoop and line markings, so visitors can play either sport in one spot. New outdoor fitness equipment was installed in the park in December 2024. Together, the court and fitness equipment give teenagers and adults an active option in the same park as the playspace for younger children.
