About Gilmour Park
Playground at Gilmour Park
Gilmour Park has a playground built around a multi-play unit with climbing features and slides. A swing set, a low balance beam and an accessible rocker give children of different abilities more ways to play. Gilmour Park also has a mini bike path, so children can ride while others climb. The existing shade sail was kept above the play area, giving children shade while they play.
Picnic Area and Upgrade at Gilmour Park
Penrith City Council upgraded Gilmour Park as part of a wider program of play facility improvements, with funding from the NSW Government's Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants Program. The upgrade added a shaded picnic table, bench seating, pathways and new landscaping across the reserve. Gilmour Park kept its community artwork when the playspace was rebuilt. The bench seating gives parents and carers a place to rest while children play.
