Aranda Reserve's new play equipment is designed to comply with current Australian Standards.
Playground Renewal at Aranda Reserve
The original playground equipment at Aranda Reserve had reached the end of its lifespan. A modest budget, including a NSW Government grant, paid for a replacement swing set and a new soft fall area. Northern Beaches Council asked the community for feedback and received 66 responses, most of which favoured renewing the playground. The new design keeps a similar size and mix of equipment to the old one, leaving open space at Aranda Reserve for recreation.
