The fenced garden makes Euroka Reserve a quiet place for a short sit-down in Woollahra.
History of Euroka Reserve
Euroka Reserve occupies a triangular parcel of about 379 square metres formed by the junction of Jersey Road and Ocean Street. From the 1860s the reserve was part of almost an acre of land that held the offices, works and residences of the Woollahra administration. Woollahra Council ran from headquarters on the corner of Ocean Street and Jersey Road for over 80 years. Euroka Reserve is the remaining council-owned portion of that property, which gives it special significance in the municipal history of Woollahra.
