About Fred Hollows Reserve

Glebe Gully Walk at Fred Hollows Reserve

The walking route at Fred Hollows Reserve follows Glebe Gully from Alison Road through to Clovelly Road, running one way rather than as a loop. Benches line the boardwalks and viewing platforms, so walkers can stop and rest along the way. The track has steps and natural rises, with steep stairs in some parts of the gully. Plaques along the route explain the history and ecology of the gully, and walkers may spot local kookaburras among the native trees.

Picnic Spots and Guided Walks at Fred Hollows Reserve

Fred Hollows Reserve has three spots to sit or picnic, set among the natural viewing sites of the gully, and park seats and a litter bin serve picnickers and walkers. The reserve prohibits alcohol and bicycles, and visitors must not remove any flora or fauna from the gully. Randwick City Council, which manages the reserve, has hosted guided walks through Fred Hollows Reserve.
