Ruse Park has a separate dog park, fenced off from the rest of the grounds. Inside the enclosure, dogs have a water bubbler and owners have a sheltered area to wait in. The dog park sits directly behind Bankstown Veterinary Hospital. Outside the enclosure, Ruse Park has well-maintained pathways for walking and running, so owners can follow an off-leash session with a walk around the wide green fields.

Playgrounds, Outdoor Gym and Miniature Train at Ruse Park

Ruse Park has two playgrounds: a large playground with equipment for kids and a second children's playground off MacCauley Avenue near the oval.
