About Alwyn Lindfield Reserve

Off-Leash Dog Area at Alwyn Lindfield Reserve

Alwyn Lindfield Reserve has a fully fenced off-leash dog park with chain-link fencing around the whole perimeter and double-gated airlock entry, so dogs stay contained as people come and go. The enclosure is a single space for dogs of all sizes, with no separate small-dog area. Dogs must remain under their owner's control and obey voice commands. Dangerous dogs and restricted breeds are prohibited from the off-leash area. The dog park has dog drinking water, poop bags and bins, and owners must remove and dispose of droppings by law. Dogs must stay on a leash across the surrounding sports fields.

Sports Fields and Courts at Alwyn Lindfield Reserve

Alwyn Lindfield Reserve has large grassed sports fields and is the home of the Blacktown Warriors, who store their equipment in containers on site. Soccer, netball, cricket, rugby union and basketball are played at the reserve. The fields have full-sized soccer goals and large floodlights for night games. Rugby union uses the sports field in winter and cricket uses it in summer. The netball courts sit close to the playground, and netball clubs train on them on weekdays during the winter season. The reserve also has two concrete sports courts.
