Reconciliation Park has a playground with equipment suited to toddlers and young children, including a slide, monkey bars and swings. The playground was built as part of City of Sydney renewal works completed in 2015.

Reconciliation Park has a community garden that its members run and maintain. The garden has a composting facility, bush tucker plantings, native bees, veggie beds, wicking beds and worm farms. It has been growing since 2016 with the help of a City of Sydney grant. New members are welcome to help on Sunday mornings, and no prior gardening experience is needed. The garden is listed as pet friendly, child friendly, and wheelchair and pram friendly.
