First Light Horse Regiment NSW Lancers lets visitors clamber over its heritage armoured fighting vehicles, including the World War II Matilda Tank "ACE", restored to full working condition. On the last Sunday of every month, live-action demonstration days see these vehicles start their engines and drive around the barracks grounds.
