About Henley Park

Off-Leash Dog Park at Henley Park

Henley Park has a fully fenced off-leash dog park with a double-gate airlock entry that keeps dogs secure as they come and go. Inside the enclosure, owners have bench seating, picnic tables, a drinking water station and poop bag dispensers. Floodlights keep the area lit until 9pm. The dog park has no agility equipment, no natural water access and no separate area for small dogs, and it has no toilets of its own, though toilets are listed for the wider reserve.

Playgrounds and Fitness at Henley Park

Henley Park has two fenced playgrounds with equipment for both young children and older kids, and both are wheelchair accessible. The playgrounds sit in the wider reserve, outside the off-leash dog park. For adults, Henley Park has outdoor gym equipment and a 1.5-kilometre exercise track suited to walking, running and fitness training, so parents can exercise close to where children play.

Sports Fields and Courts at Henley Park

Henley Park has soccer fields numbered 1 to 4, and Fields 3 and 4 have been upgraded with new turf and advanced drainage systems. The reserve also has a cricket field with cricket nets, basketball courts and a futsal area for ball sports. A bike path runs through Henley Park for cyclists. For casual games, the reserve also has a ping pong table and a giant chess set.
