About Brett Park

Nature Playground at Brett Park

Brett Park's nature-style playground reopened on 15 December 2024 after a $650,000 makeover. The play space has climbing elements, swings, a slide and a sandpit, along with a water pump. Nature trails give children more to explore. The playground has seating and shade, so carers can supervise from a comfortable spot. The playground suits all ages, making it a practical choice for families with toddlers and older children alike.

Off-Leash Dog Section at Brett Park

Brett Park is very dog friendly and has a designated off-leash section, where dogs can run freely and socialise with other dogs. Outside that section, dogs must be kept on a lead in every other part of Brett Park, including around the playground and the picnic areas. Off-leash hours are set out on the posted signage, so owners should read the signs before letting a dog off the lead.

BBQs, Picnic Tables and Outdoor Gym at Brett Park

Brett Park has council-operated electric BBQs that are free to use. Picnic tables with benches and a shaded area are available for shared meals, although the number of tables is limited. Brett Park also has an outdoor gym area for a workout and toilets for visitors. The park has only a few rubbish bins, so visitors should plan to take their rubbish home after a barbecue or picnic.
