Bill Peters Reserve has a playground that was upgraded under the Inner West Council 2024-25 capital works program, after its aged equipment had deteriorated. The $210,000 upgrade added new multi-play units for different age groups, with climbing, sliding and hanging elements. Bill Peters Reserve now has a new inclusive swing and an all-ages swing, and a nature play area with timber steppers and balancing beams. Improved seating and garden areas were part of the same works, which formed one of four Inner West playground projects in a $780,000 program.

The junior tennis court is free to use and needs no booking, so players can simply turn up and play.
