About Barracluff Park
Off-Leash Dog Area at Barracluff Park
Barracluff Park is a timed dog off-leash park under Waverley Council rules: dogs may run off-leash between 3pm and 10am daily and must be leashed at other times. Because the off-leash area is shared with the sportsfield, access is restricted during organised sporting activities and community events. Dogs are not permitted within 10m of the playground and community courts and must not dig on the sportsfield. Owners must collect droppings and place them in the bins provided, and fines apply for breaches.
Playground at Barracluff Park
Barracluff Park has a fully fenced inclusive playground, upgraded by Waverley Council. Its centrepiece is a large custom-built play tower with slides, climbing nets, a fireman's pole, musical instruments and puzzles. Toddlers have a toddler swing and a toddler-size cubby with slide. The play space also has a seesaw, springer rockers, a group spinner and a nature play area with timber and rock balance challenges. Picnic tables sit inside the play space, and several large trees give natural shade.
Sports Courts and Fields at Barracluff Park
Barracluff Park has a community sports court marked for netball, basketball, handball and tennis rebound wall practice. A half multi-use court adds netball and basketball rings and handball line markings. The park's turf fields host structured sports and have sports lighting. Sports lighting and venue hire are booked through Waverley Council's online booking system, with a maximum party size of 150.
